Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School International Division follows the IB PYP framework, integrating learning across six transdisciplinary themes and adopting a dual homeroom teacher model to nurture independent, internationally-minded learners.

About Us

Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School International Division (WFLPS ID) was established in July 2024 on the foundation of the former Integration Department. It is an authorised International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP).

Academics

In the Primary Years Programme (PYP), students learn about and use knowledge, concepts and skills from a variety of subjects to explore six transdisciplinary themes and begin to develop the attributes of the learner profile.

Student Learning

Campus life at our school is dynamic and diverse. Students participate in a wide range of activities, clubs, and community events. Through student organizations, including the Student Council, they take on leadership roles and exercise agency. Together, these experiences create a vibrant campus community where students learn, grow, and lead.

Admissions

WFLPS International Division was established in July 2024 based on the WFLPS Fusion Department. It is also an International Baccalaureate Organization Authorized World School. WFLPSID believes the philosophy of WFLPS "Let the students embrace the world, let the world be part of school life."
